Are You A Reader?

MLM reader Are you a reader?  Here at Maple Leaf Management we do like to read. This is a great morning, noon or night activity when we can fit it into our schedule. We do probably read more during the winter but it’s a great activity any time of the year. This infographic has some surprising information.

One of the statistics that I do think we will see change even more and is not too surprising to me is that 70% of adults have not been in a book store in the last five years. With the advent of digital books, newspapers and magazines there are many reasons that we don’t go to bookstores. I know this is hard for booksellers. The schools have also started to use digital books so kids may not be familiar with bookstore or library visits. I have started to use the local library more because checking out books at night when I want to read is much easier and is perfect for my instant gratification needs.

So readers, what about you? Do you read books? Have you been to a bookstore lately?
